Valuation disclaimer
This archive shows two kinds of number: a guide value for each work, and the live public “what would you pay” median. Both are indicative and for interest only. Please read them the way they are meant.
Indicative, not an appraisal
The values on this site are estimates offered for information and interest. They are not a professional or certified appraisal, not a statement of market price, and not a guarantee of what any work would sell or insure for. They are not intended as a formal valuation and should not be relied on as one.

How the guide value is worked out
The guide value is computed, not decreed: it starts from a work's size, materials and the years it was built across, lifts for series rarity and critical attention, and is then blended with the community's own median. It is shown as a range and is only ever a starting point for thinking about worth — never a fixed or official figure.
Der Richtwert wird berechnet, nicht festgesetzt: ausgehend von Größe, Materialien und Entstehungszeitraum, mit Zuschlägen für Seltenheit und Aufmerksamkeit, verrechnet mit dem Median der Community. Er erscheint als Spanne und ist stets nur ein Ausgangspunkt — kein fester oder offizieller Betrag.
The public number is subjective
The “what would you pay” figure is the median of estimates submitted by visitors. These are personal, subjective opinions of worth. They are not verified, can be influenced by how many people have taken part, and can change at any time as new estimates come in.

Nothing is for sale
None of the 61 works is for sale, and nothing on this site is an offer to buy or sell. Showing a value is part of an open question the artist puts to his city — what would this be worth to you? — not a price tag. Any decision you make on the basis of these numbers is your own.
